After 11 years teaching in public schools and 17 years homeschooling, Brenda is down to only one student, having graduated her older children in 2018 and 2023. While still in the thick of homeschooling, she has a desire to help those who are just getting started with homeschooling and encourage all educators.

In 2022, Brenda realized her dream of becoming a published author with her first children's book Cassie, Who Is Sometimes Sassy.  Brenda is excited to resume her role as an author and is currently editing her second book, which is a children's chapter book.
